NJII is paving the way for the future of healthcare via the New Jersey Health Information Network (NJHIN), which facilitates data transfer between healthcare providers, patients, and the state. The NJHIN is funded by the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) and the Department of Human Services (NJDHS), and NJII is the state-designated entity appointed to operate and manage the network. Our goal is to reduce healthcare costs by creating a fully interoperable healthcare system throughout the state that benefits healthcare facilities of all types, as well as their patients and staff. The NJHIN has also achieved CMS Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) certification, as well as HITRUST certification, which places NJII in an elite group of organizations worldwide that have earned this certification.
