Zweena Health is an innovative company and has really made an impact within the Health IT Connections Program. Zweena Health participated in the executive classes during our 6th cohort session. “I was honored to be asked to join the Health IT Connections Program at NJIT. Getting together with other health care organizations who share the same start-up issues on a bi-weekly basis is a great way to learn and exchange ideas with one another. The lectures and guest speakers provided a mini boot camp approach in a very collaborative and open learning environment. Our course leaders were always prepared and willing to spend extra individual time when needed. The collective experience was one of the best I have experienced and far exceeded my expectations” says John.
The Health IT Connections Program looks to connect growth-stage health IT companies with the right resources to take their business to the next level. “I am interested in connecting with other like minded consumer digital health companies to explore collaborative opportunities. Also interested in networking among the local NY, NJ digital health organizations and health systems to explore collaborative opportunities’ says John. Since joining the cohort, John has attended 2 digital health programs in NYC, which he claims provided him with great networking opportunities with other digital health companies and service organizations. We asked John if he has reached any milestones since joining the Health IT Connections Program. “Since joining the program I have been accepted into the Columbia Executive MPH program at the Mailman School. My intent is to get my masters degree in Public Health and use my digital health experience to further better consumer health care in the NYC metropolitan area” said John.
