Global Intellectual Property Law Symsposium

Global Intellectual Property Law Symsposium

by Stephanie Macias, February 28, 2017

Gearhart Law first began the Global Intellectual Property Law Symposium (GIPLS) in 2015 to offer clients and their network opportunities to learn about doing business in other countries and to meet and network with professionals from around the world.  In the past, the GIPLS has featured business leaders and attorneys representing Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, the EU, India and Israel. This year, the 2017 GIPLS is pleased to partner with the EDC at NJIT to feature the UK and Cuba, and to hear investors’ perspectives on global opportunities for entrepreneurs.

The 2017 symposium will be Monday, April 3rd from 1pm to 6:30 pm at beautiful Eberhardt Hall on the NJIT campus, with free parking.  In addition to panels featuring England (Brexit), Cuba, and Investors, we’ll also have discussions of ‘Global Inventorship’ and ‘The First 100 Days of the New Administration and Entrepreneurship’, as well as a keynote presentation on the business climate in Cuba by Former Canadian Ambassador to Cuba and Managing Partner of Acasta Capital.

Please join us for networking and interesting, interactive discussions plus a look at new technologies in the inventor showcase!
