Interact with speakers discussing the current and future status of Additive and Advanced Manufacturing in the public and private sectors.
Breakout sessions will:
- Examine equipment and materials in use today and give examples of how manufacturers are using Additive Manufacturing for prototyping, reducing costs, improving quality and applying innovate applications.
- Investigate advances in education, training, and retraining for Additive Manufacturing Operators.
Focus will be on transitioning technology from the public to private sector. Examples are the Military RFAB unit developed by Picatinny Arsenal and Voodoo Manufacturing’s Small-Batch Manufacturing with High-Volume 3D Printing. Light snacks and lunch will be served.
