History of Innovation

The world owes a bit of debt to the Garden State. Most people know about Thomas Edison’s contributions to society, but did you know that Band-Aids, the tv dinner, Bubble Wrap, and the drive-in movie were also invented in New Jersey? So were the modern air-conditioner, electron magnification, LCD, and the transistor. New Jersey also has a long history of pharmaceutical innovation. Streptomycin, tetracycline, and Valium are all of products of New Jersey laboratories.
