The Physician Quality Reporting System

About Us

The Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) program is a quality reporting program defined by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.  Eligible professionals (EPs) are encouraged to report information on the quality of care pertaining to their Medicare services according to set standards and guidelines. Eligible professionals can choose to report individually or elect to report as a group practice. PQRS gives participating EPs and group practices the opportunity to assess the quality of care they provide to their patients, helping to ensure patients get the right care at the right time. Failure to report satisfactorily on PQRS quality measures will result in negative payment adjustments for all applicable Medicare Physician Fee Schedule billing.
